Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy and smooth.
- Add the powdered sugar one cup at a time, mixing on low speed until fully incorporated.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Add the milk gradually, 1 tablespoon at a time, mixing until the frosting reaches your desired consistency.
- If desired, divide the frosting into bowls and mix in food coloring.
