Description

These soft and chewy M&M’S cookies are loaded with colorful candy-coated chocolates and have the perfect buttery texture that makes them irresistible for both kids and adults.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (220g) packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups (360g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups (350g) M&M’S candies
  • 1 cup (170g) semisweet chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Fold in M&M’S candies and chocolate chips if using.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may look slightly underbaked.
  9. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
