Description

Tortilla Rollups are a quick and easy appetizer or snack made by spreading a flavorful filling on tortillas, rolling them up, and slicing into bite-sized pinwheels.


Ingredients

  • 5 large flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup diced green chilies (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped black olives (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, green chilies, black olives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Lay out each tortilla and spread an even layer of the mixture across the entire surface.
  3. Roll up each tortilla tightly into a log shape.
  4. Wrap each roll in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  5. Unwrap and slice into 1-inch pieces to form pinwheels.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • These can be made a day ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
  • You can customize the filling with ham, turkey, or chopped veggies.
  • Use flavored tortillas for added taste and color.
